Consistently find real estate leads...your own way!

Why real estate agents struggle with
inconsistency...

Do you ever wonder, "Am I doing it wrong? Why am I not further ahead? Why am I not consistently getting leads? What are other agents doing that I'm not doing?"

Feeling 'behind' can be frustrating. Feeling 'inconsistent' can be paralyzing. Comparing yourself to other agents can be discouraging.

We went on a sailing trip in March to the British Virgin Islands. We had to all pitch in and learn how to run the ship and it was nothing less than an amazing new challenge.

When it was my turn to take the helm and steer the sailboat I learned something amazing.

First, the sailboat has a version of google maps for the sea so we could set our destination for shore. Pretty awesome, right? A straight path to shore, sounds pretty easy, sign me up!

Then it got even easier when I learned the sailboat had an autopilot system. Set it and forget it!

So, option #1 was to set the autopilot and watch the helm/wheel drive itself (which made it look so easy to steer).

Option #2 was to steer by hand. This looked easy enough to hold the steering wheel, point it straight on, and follow the line the google maps was providing. It was a "clear path" with simple directions, what could go wrong?

I love a great challenge so I went for option number 2.

And so it began.

The waves were so much stronger than I imagined they would be and they kept pushing against my efforts to hold steady. This was so much harder than I thought it would be.

As I held onto the helm and attempted to keep the boat on the 'straight and narrow' line shown on the map I was veering to the left of the guide line and to the right of the guide line.

To say the least, I wasn't going in a straight line. Dang, that autopilot made it look so easy. What was I doing wrong?

Here's the thing. I wasn't doing it wrong, I was just doing it different. Heading to the same destination in my own way, a little left and a little right.

So listen up, You're NOT doing it wrong!

Your business is not a straight line. You are not meant to know every twist and turn on your way to success.

You don't need to be any further along than you are at this very moment, you're in the exact right spot.

Now what's your next move?

Thoughts of inconsistency and comparison and thinking you should be somewhere you're not will only slow you down your progress and give you net negative results in your business.

When you feel frustrated, disappointed, behind, or inconsistent what kind of energy do you bring to your work day? Negative energy.

So then, why do agents struggle with feeling inconsistent?

Negative thinking leads to➡️ negative energy which delivers ➡️negative results.

When agents focus on looking for the right way (autopilot) to steer their business they are hoping to get to the destination faster, better, and like the other successful agents.

However, there is not one way to grow your real estate business. Not one way to get leads. Not one way to convert leads. And not one way to reach the income level you desire.

This is good news. You're not inconsistent, you're figuring it out.

If you're ready to figure out the next right move for you you're in the right place.
